Example 3:

An English owner of several apartments in Berlin requires intensive guidance with respect to valuation/management/letting and expansion of his portfolio.

The Task:

The first apartment required a market value assessment for the British tax authorities. For the second unit, refurbishment was to be supervised and a tenant to be found. The third unit was to be evaluated with a view to raising the rent or selling it.

Our Services:

  1. Alongside our commercial value assessment, we commissioned a sworn appraiser to draw up an expertise with regards to the condition of the object in English for the British tax authorities.
  2. We supervised the refurbishment of the unit in question and subsequently found a tenant and signed a lease agreement on behalf of our customer.
  3. We evaluated and determined the possibilities of raising the rent level for the other unit and informed the customer accordingly. The decision is still pending.
  4. Simultaneously, we took over the job as owner representative for all units, acting as point of contact for the German authorities, supervising German bookkeeping and corresponding with the respective caretakers and owner representative councils.
